• The actor made his debut in the Telugu language romantic drama action film ‘Mehbooba’ in 2018. The film, written and directed by Puri Jagannath, featured him in a cameo role alongside actors Akash Puri and Neha Shetty. In 2019, he starred in the murder mystery ‘Ragala 24 Gantalo’ directed by Srinivasa Reddy. The plot of the film is inspired by the play ‘The Unexpected Guest’ by Agatha Christie. • In 2021, Ajay appeared in the Telugu film ‘Alanthi Sitaralu’ released on 21 September 2021. Ajay Kathurvar played the role of Yash who is a boxer who wants to excel in the sport but lags behind his personal qualities. The film depicts the story of four individuals with different life choices who meet others by chance and their lives are changed forever. The film did not get a good response from the audience but the actor was appreciated for his performance. A media house published a review about the film, which read,

• Later in 2021, the Bollywood actress announced her upcoming Telugu film ‘Galati’. The film was announced to feature Ajay Kathurvar in lead roles along with Abhinav Sardar, Ajay Kathurwar, Taniya Kalra, Karishma Kumar, Sujit Kumar, Teja Ainampudi and Priya. ‘Galti’ directed by Sunny Komalpati is the second film produced by ASP Media. Abhinav Sardar, apart from playing the lead role, is in charge of producing the film. Film makers are producing the film on a large scale without spending any money. Apart from filming, the filmmaker is also in charge of promoting the film. To woo the coming of age audience, Prem Ghatak has been paired with an adventurous theme.
