Alefiya Kapadia made her debut in the television serial Just Mohabbat as Jai’s elder sister Piya Malhotra, which aired on Sony Entertainment from 1996 to 2000. The next year, she appeared in the drama series Daman on Sahara TV. The series was awarded Best Location Sound at the RAPA Awards in 2002. From 2012 to 2014, she was portrayed as Latika Bafna, Aditya’s ex-fiance and ex-wife of Rubal and Nisha’s daughter in the Rajshri Productions television serial Pyaar Ka Dard Hai.
