He briefly taught law at the Delaware Law School from 1980 to 1981. He served on the New Jersey Supreme Court from 1987 to 1995, becoming the state’s youngest Supreme Court justice at the time.

He was also an assistant professor at Seton Hall University School of Law from 1989 to 2000. He was a visiting lecturer at Brooklyn Law School from 2013 to 2017. Before joining the FNC in 1998, Judge Napolitano served on the New Jersey Supreme Court and was the state’s youngest lifelong Superior Court judge. He served on the Superior Court from 1987 to 1995, where he tried more than 150 jury trials and sat in all parts of the courtroom. He worked as an assistant professor of constitutional law for 11 years at Seton Hall Law School, where he taught constitutional law and jurisprudence.
