Biography
Ankita Chakraborty was born on 18 August 1986 in a Bengali Hindu family. He has a younger brother, Shayan Chakraborty, who is also a film producer. Chakraborty started her career with the television serial Ishti Kutum as Kamalika Majumdar opposite Ranita Das and Rishi Kaushik. This show brought him a lot of fame in the Bengali entertainment industry. It aired on Star Jalsha channel from 2011 to 2015.
In 2014, Chakraborty got the opportunity to make her film debut with Byomkesh Phir Elo as Medini. She was later seen in its squeals Byomkesh Bakshi and Byomkesh O Chiriyakhana. In 2018, she started working on the digital space and starred in Hoichoi’s popular web series Characterless. He later worked in several Hindi and Bengali web series, including Hai Tauba, Mafia, Crime and Confessions and Pavitra Pillay.
