Anuja Sathe Gokhale is an Indian television actress who predominantly works in Hindi and Marathi entertainment industry. Sathe is best known for his character Ashraf Bhatkar in MX Player’s web series Ek Thi Begum. He has worked in various television and films like Mandala Don Ghadicha Dao, Lagori Maitri Returns, Asa Mee Aashi Tee, Rakhandar and Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran.
Biography
Anuja Sathe was born on 8 October 1987 in Pune, Maharashtra. Sathe started her career as Sanjana in 2010 with the television serial Agnihotra. She later appeared in the television show Mandala Don Ghadicha Dava in 2011. From 2011 to 2012, she was featured in Star Pravah’s Marathi serial Suvasini. She played the role of Urmila in the Marathi daily soap Lagori Maitri Returns from 2013 to 2015. She was the co-host of the Marathi program Visva – Ek Ghar Mansarkha in 2013. In the same year, Sathe made his debut with the Marathi film Asa. I am Aashi T. Later he was acted in many Marathi films including Rakhandar, Bho Bho, Ghanta, Koffee Ani Barach Kahi etc.
In 2016, Sathe played the lead role of Dhara Solanki, who yearns to become a cricket player, defying her family’s standards, in the Star Plus serial Tamannaah. She appeared in a supporting role of Radhabai in the series Peshwa Bajirao on Sony Entertainment in 2017. In 2019, she starred as Janki Bai in the series Khob Ladi Mardaani… Jhansi Ki Rani on Colors TV.
