Anushka Sharma was born on 21 July 1999 in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. His father K Rajeev Sharma worked in ITC company while his mother Kusum Sharma is a housewife. Apart from him, he also has an elder brother in the family, Sarthak, who is currently working in an IT company in Bangalore.
Anushka completed her early education from Saharanpur. She did her schooling from Sophia Girls College. She was very good in studies but wanted to pursue a career in acting. Anushka worked hard to get admission in Delhi University and secured 94 per cent marks in class 12th. Later, he took admission in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, which is famous for theater work.

Initially, Anushka auditioned for the theater in Saharanpur in which she got selected. From here he decided to make a career in acting. During her graduation, Anushka was constantly associated with theater and took part in many plays.
