She started her career as an anchor in Mangalore-based TV channel “Namma TV” owned by popular Kannada music director Gurukiran’s brother Sivasaran Shetty. Later when he got offers in Bangalore, he decided to go for it even though the salary in those days was less than Rs 250 per episode. Later she appeared in mainstream Kannada channels like “ETV Kannada”, “Kasturi”, “Zee Kannada”, “Suvarna TV” etc.
bigg boss kannada: Anushree also participated in the first season of “Big Bass Kannada” along with Vijay Raghavendra, Arun Sagar, Nikita Thukral, Narendra Babu and others. She lasted 12 weeks and finished as 6th last.
