Baba Indrajit is an Indian all-rounder cricketer who plays for the home team Tamil Nadu cricket team. He bats with right hand and bowls leg break googly. In September 2017, he scored his maiden first-class double century and was the leading run-scorer for Tamil Nadu in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy with 641 runs in 8 matches. He got a chance to play in IPL for the first time in 2022 IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders.
Birth and early life
Baba Indrajit was born on 8 July 1994 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His father’s name is RN Baba. He has a twin brother, Baba Aparajith, who is part of the Indian team and plays for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Both of them scored a century while performing in the debut Ranji Trophy. They are known as Baba Twins in domestic cricket. Aparajith is two years senior to Inderjit as he started playing cricket before him.

Baba Indrajit has been playing cricket since a very young age, he and his brother used to go to cricket training together and both of them had a dream to play for the Indian team. Baba got a chance to show his talent in Tamil Nadu Under-16. After which he did not look back and kept on improving his game. His name was also included in the India Green Duleep Trophy 2018-19 in July 2018 and he was also the leading run scorer in that year scoring 149 runs in 2 matches.
Indrajit was also the leading run-scorer in the 2021-22 Ranji Trophy with 396 runs in 3 matches and an average of 99.
IPL career
Indrajit got a chance to play in IPL in 2022. He was inducted by Kolkata Knight Riders with a base price of 20 lakhs. He played 3 matches for Kolkata Knight Riders, in which he scored 21 runs with the help of 2 fours.
