Dr Robin Radhakrishnan, popularly known as Doctor Machan, was born in 1991.age 31 years; by 2022) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

He did his MBBS from the Government Medical College, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu. In an interview, he shared that he was a below average student in the school. he adds,
I failed many exams and was a backbencher. My parents, like any other, used to ask me to learn from other students. I was fat and uncomfortable, I stopped attending events and was always alone. But I believed in the power of dreams. I worked hard, cleared the medical entrance and joined Chidambaram Government Medical College. Today, I work in the hospital where I was born.”

After completing his studies, he started practicing as a doctor at GG Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. In 2019, he gained immense popularity with the online talk show ‘Chat with Doctor Machan’ that aired on Kaumudi TV.

After this he started making motivational videos on Instagram. Talking about making motivational videos in an interview, he said,
My first video was about ‘demotivating people’. But I don’t call myself a motivational speaker; I talk about what I have experienced in my 29 years of life – very simple and relatable things, as you can see. Things we fail to notice. When the number of followers increased, people started direct messaging me. From eighth grade kids to middle-aged men, I get at least 2,000 messages every day. I found that they feel comfortable telling me about their problems. I never knew I could make such a difference. I answer every text message, hope my little effort can help them. On the other hand, I am a very normal person. I can be upset and moody at times. But when it comes to putting a smile on someone’s face, I try my best to be selfless.”
She has acted in some Malayalam cover songs like “Mizhiyariyathe” (2018) by KS Harishankar, “Pavizha Majhaye” (2019) by KS Harishankar and “Jiya Jale” (2019) by KS Harishankar.
In 2019, Dr Robin acted in the Malayalam short video ‘Neeram’.
