Geetanjali started her career with the television thriller anthology serial Kya Hadsa Kya Haqeeqat in the year 2002 as Neonika Chatterjee. In the same year, she was featured as Sanjana in the Sahara One serial Kahin To Milenge. From 2003 to 2007, she starred in the lead roles of Aparna Ghosh in the Balaji Telefilms series Kasautii Zindagii Kay, aired on Star Plus. Tamasha depicts the story of infamous lovers Anurag and Prerna.
From 2004 to 2005, she starred as Anjali in the TV series Hum 2 Hai Na and as Sanjana in Raat Ghar Ko Hai. She was also cast as Maya Kapoor in the Ekta Kapoor series Karam Apna Apna. Geetanjali was later a part of many famous television shows like Jersey No 10, Tere Liye, Adalat – Zindagi Milegi Dobara, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Once again, for each other. Recently she played the lead role of Savita Mansukh Dixit in the show Shubh Labh.
