Hemakshi’s father wanted him to become an engineer but his interest in acting and modeling brought him to Mumbai. Initially, she worked as a model for magazines and later worked in some television commercials and projects. She is best known for her appearance as Kakai Mata in the 2008 TV serial Ramayan. Apart from this, he has done episodic shows like Crime Patrol.
After that, she acted in several television shows, but came into limelight with Star Plus’s TV serial Navya – Naye Dhadkan Naye Question. In the show, she played the role of Sugandha Bajpayee, the mother of the male lead. In the same year, she acted as Preeti Ahluwalia in Kitni Mohabbat Hai 2.
Her another popular role was that of Netra Singh Anand in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, a popular daily soap starring Dipika Kakar and Karan Grover. The show aired on Star Plus from 17 June 2019 to 14 March 2020. Hemakshi is currently working in Na Umra Ki Seema Ho to be aired on Star Bharat channel.
