Ishita Dutta was born on 26 August 1990 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand in a Bengali Hindu family. His father’s name is Tapan Dutta and mother’s name is Shikha Dutta. He has an elder sister in the family named Tanushree Dutta. Tanushree is also a famous Bollywood actress. Ishita completed her schooling from South India Mahila Samaj English School, Jamshedpur. Later he did his graduation in Mass Media from Mumbai.

career
In 2012, Ishita started her acting career by appearing in the Telugu romantic drama film Chanakyadu. In the same year she appeared in the Kannada drama film Yenidu Manasali and then in Raja Rajendra. Ishita immediately came into limelight with Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam, directed by Nishikant Kamat. She played the lead role of Anju Salgaonkar (Ajay Devgan’s elder daughter and Shriya Saran character) in the film. Meanwhile in 2013, she appeared in the Star Plus soap opera Ek Ghar Banunga as the female protagonist Poonam.
Since 2016, she has actively worked in several Hindi television shows such as Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar, Kaun Hai – Ek Naya Adhyay, Bepannaah, Bepanah Pyaar, Thoda Sa Badal Thoda Sa Pani etc.
