Birth and early life
Jigyasu Singh was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan in a middle-class Hindu family. His father’s name is Neeraj Singh and mother’s name is Kiran Singh. He has a younger brother Pranav Singh in the family. He completed his schooling from St. Pink Anselms City SR Sec. School in Jaipur and graduated in Mass Communication from ICG-International College for Girls, University of Rajasthan. He has done his post graduation in journalism from Delhi University.

Singh made her debut as Alia in Zee Marudhara’s Chor Tera Gaon Bada Pyara opposite Manish Goplani. She then played the role of Supriya in Channel V India’s episodic series Gumra: End of Innocence. She rose to fame by playing the lead role of Vaani “Thapki” Chaturvedi in Colors TV’s Thapki Pyaar Ki from 2015 to 2017. She then starred in Star Plus’s Nazar Tara Khanna and Heer Singh Colors TV’s Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. In 2021, he reprized his role as Thapki in the second season of Thapki Pyaar Ki.
