Jonathan Moutonov is an American singer and songwriter. He is best known for participating in the television reality show The Voice season 21. He performed in front of Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend.
Biography
Jonathan Moutnow was born on 15 May 1991 in Los Angeles, California. His family includes parents Mo Mouton and Lydia Mouton; and two siblings. He belongs to a musical family. His mother was a background singer for Motown superstars such as Stevie Wonder and The Jackson Five. He inspired her to pursue a career in singing. Initially, Jonathan participated in various talent shows and landed a gig on a Glee-inspired musical tour after high school. He went on tour as a background artist, but at age 23, he discovered a lump in his neck. Doctors told her that she had stage IV cancer that had spread to her lungs, spleen and liver.
Jonathan gave up within months of his treatment, but his parents and brother told him to keep fighting. He beat cancer and started fulfilling his dream again. She starred in Fox’s I Can See Your Voice and performed in front of such celebrities as Cheryl Hines and Donny Osmond. In 2021 Jonathan got a chance to perform on the NBC TV show The Voice Season 21 with the team of Legend.
