Kritika Awasthi was born on 9 January 1990 in Delhi, India. His father Mukesh Awasthi is the Marketing Director of National Insurance Company and his mother’s name is Savita Awasthi. He has a sister named Varun Awasthi in his family.
Kritika did her schooling from Sadhu Vaswani International School for Girls, New Delhi and graduated from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi and Chaudhary Charan Singh University. After graduating from law school in 2013, he began working as an artistic student at the Supreme Court of India. In 2013, she moved to Motion Dance Academy in New Delhi as a dancer.

Kritika started her career as a Professor of Dance at DanceWorks in 2010. She has emerged as a model in various television commercials such as Parachute, KFC and Advanced Body Lotion. Awasthi made his television debut with Girl in the City, playing the role of Awan from 2016 to 2017. The next year, she played the role of Mithali in the comedy romance series Girlsplanning in 2018. Kritika starred in two seasons of the comedy-drama series. Engineering Girls as Meghna Mishra (or Maggu). This is the story of three engineering students who take care of dormitory theaters, move out together, and do whatever it takes to make their dreams come true. In 2021, she was featured as Richa Awasthi in the web series Tandav.
