Malvi Malhotra was born on 22 May 1991 in Samkhetar, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh in a Punjabi family. His father Sushil Malhotra is a businessman and his mother Vandana Malhotra is a school teacher. He is the only child of his parents.
Malhotra completed his schooling in Himachal Pradesh from DAV Centenary Public School and then from DAV College, Chandigarh. She later moved to Maharashtra to pursue her Aster in Computer Applications. He completed his acting course from National School of Drama, Mumbai.
