Manjari Phadnis was born on Sunday 10 July 1984.age 38 years; by 2022) in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. Belonging to a family where her father Bharat Kumar Phadnis served in the Indian Army, she grew up in various parts of India including Shimla, Jammu, Delhi, Mumbai and her hometown of Pune. He attended St. Anne’s High School Fort, Mumbai, India. His studies came to a halt as a result of his entry into the world of Bollywood and his involvement in films, but he found a way to complete his graduation from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Since none of his family members were from the entertainment industry, they were initially hesitant to allow him to enter the Bollywood film industry. Later, after realizing his enthusiasm to make a career in acting, he decided to eliminate all the negativity from his career and work in positivity with hard work. After entering the world of entertainment, she faced many difficulties when she was asked by the producers to settle for films which she rejected and opted out of many big film projects. He continued to make short films after facing slow progress in his career after his debut in Bollywood. In an interview conducted in 2019, she said that now the makers know very well that she will never agree to a compromise. In 2004, she started her journey in the Bollywood film industry with a leading role in her debut film ‘Rok Sako To Rok Lo’ as Suhana. She continued her journey and acted in Bengali films, where her first film ‘Faltu’ (2006) in which she played the role of Tuktuki and another film ‘Mumbai Salsa’ (2007) in which she played the role of Maya Chandok were National Awards. – Winning Bengali movies. She also appeared on screen in Tamil films with her debut as Aarti in ‘Muthirai’ (2009). She also marked her performances in Kannada films as Pavitra in ‘Munjaane’ (2012), as Shailaja Reddy in Telugu films ‘Siddu from Sikakulam’ (2008) and in ‘Mr. Cheating”(2014) in Malayalam films. She gave an exceptional performance as Meghna Pariar in the Hindi-language romantic-comedy film ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’, which got her a big break. She is also known for her impressive performance in ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ (2015), a multi-starrer film directed by Abbas Mustan.

Being a part of films in different languages, Manjari Phadnis admitted that language has never been a barrier in her career and would love to be a part of films in other languages, as well as said in an interview,

If I get a good script and role, I would love to do a Marathi film as well. If I can do Bengali, Tamil and Telugu films then why not in Marathi. Language has never been a problem with me. Bengali is easy to understand. But, Telugu and Tamil are difficult.”

He marked himself as a co-producer with his work in ‘Yeh Dooriyan’, (2021), a series that was planned to be released as a film, but has now been split into episodes and is streaming on the social video platform, YouTube.
