He is the host and producer of Mike Colameco’s Real Food television program, which was created from the original 3-part “The Food Dude” series. Colameco, an avid athlete, competed in amateur boxing for the New York Athletic Club from 1985 to 1991. He held the middleweight and light heavyweight boxing titles at various points. He previously served as a professional sparring partner for Chris Reed, Kevin Moley and Donny Lalonde.

Kolameko received a Kyokushin karate black belt in 1986, and in the years since, she has run five marathons in New York City.
