Michael Colameco is an American chef, author and media personality. He has worked in the restaurant business for 45 years. He is the host and producer of Mike Colameco’s Real Food television program, which was created from the original 3-part “The Food Dude” series. He has been the anchor of the weekly live radio program Food Talk since 2006.

Colameco, an avid athlete, competed in amateur boxing for the New York Athletic Club from 1985 to 1991. He held the middleweight and light heavyweight boxing titles at various points. He previously served as a professional sparring partner for Chris Reed, Kevin Moley and Donny Lalonde.
Kolameko received a Kyokushin karate black belt in 1986, and in the years since, she has run five marathons in New York City.
