She is best recognized for her role as Nikki Nichols in the Netflix comedy-drama series Orange Is the New Black. The role earned her a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress.
She is also known for starring as Nadia Vulvokov in the Netflix series Russian Dolls. Leone has appeared in various movies such as; Dennis the Menace, Everybody Says I Love You, Slums of Beverly Hills, Scary Movie 2; gray zone; Kate and Leopold, and Party Monster.
