Nirvair Singh (1980–2022) was an Indian singer and taxi driver who lived in Melbourne, Australia. He died in a tragic car accident on 31 August 2022 at Bulla-Diggers Rest Road in Diggers Rest near Melbourne.
Nirveer Singh was born on Saturday 3 November 1979.age 42 years; at the time of death) in Kurali, Punjab. He did his schooling from Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Kurali, Punjab. He then attended News Network, Punjab and Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (formerly Thapar University), Patiala. When he was in school and college, he used to perform in various singing competitions.

On 11 November 2005, he married a girl named Pritloveli Rihel. The couple had two sons named Riazveer Singh and Geetaj Veer Singh.
In 2013, Nirveer Singh moved from Punjab to Melbourne to pursue a career in singing. There he started working as a taxi driver and simultaneously started composing songs with his Punjabi friends. In the same year, he sang the popular Punjabi song “Tere Bina” from the album “My Turn”.
He sang several Punjabi songs including “Ferrari Dream” (2018), “Je Rasgi” (2019), “Hikk Thok Ke” (2019), and “Dard-e-Dil” (2020). Nirvair has performed in various national and international singing programs.
On 31 August 2022, he had a major car accident on the Bulla-Diggers Rest Road in Diggers Rest, Australia. While he was driving his Kia sedan car, a speeding car lost control and hit a jeep which overturned in the lane of his car and crashed his car. Nirvair died on the spot and the other injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. According to Melbourne West Police,
A mistakenly driven car rammed two vehicles in Digger Rest City. Police have arrested a man and a woman in the case, but no charges have been filed against them so far. The officials have also requested people to contact them for any leads in the case, including dashcams or CCTV footage.
