Biography
Parijita Bastola was born in Baltimore, Maryland to a Nepalese family. His family moved to the United States when political unrest began in Nepal. She belongs to a non-musical family. His elder sister Priyankana introduced him to soul and R&B music. She currently attends Severna Park High School.
Parijita performed in music and choir at school and, eventually, in a blues band. She has been laughing at restaurants and bars for the past five years. Parjeeta is the vocalist of the band Bastola, which is named after her. The band was selected to perform at the 2022 International Blues Challenge in Memphis. In the same year, she also became a contestant on the singing reality show The Voice 22.
