Pat Gelsinger is an American engineer and business executive who is currently recognized globally as the CEO of Intel. Gelsinger, who spent much of his life in Silicon Valley from the late 1970s, earned an engineering master’s degree from Stanford University and built the Intel 80486 processor in the 1980s. He served as CEO of VMware and as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of EMC before returning to Intel.
