Pranati Nayak is an Indian artistic gymnast. He has been selected to represent India at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo. He started playing at the Senior International Elite level in the year 2021 in Artistic Gymnastics.
Biography
Pranati Nayak was born on 6 April 1995 in Jhargam, West Bengal. His father’s name is Sumant Nayak, who is a bus driver. He has two sisters Jayati and Tapti Nayak. Nayak along with Dipa Karmarkar played Children’s Asia in Russia in 2014. He finished fourth on beam and fifth on vault in the all-around final of this Asiad. In artistic gymnastics, the medal at the World Championships was won by renowned Indian gymnasts Deepa Karmakar and Aruna Reddy, and she is third behind them.
Sri Lanka’s Nayak and Milka Gehani secured continental quotas for the 2020 Summer Olympics and were awarded this quota in artistic gymnastics after the 2021 Asia Championships were cancelled. In the year 2021, he was selected in the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games.
