Raimohan Parida (1963–2022) was an Indian actor and Jatra director, who predominantly appeared in Bengali and Oriya films. On 24 June 2022, he allegedly committed suicide in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

In 1986, he made his debut with the Odia film ‘Paka Kambal Pot Chhata’, but he came into limelight with the 1987 Bengali film ‘Sagar’.
He appeared in over 100 Oriya and Bengali films such as ‘Singha Vahini’ (1998), ‘Suna Bhauja’ (1994), and ‘Mental’ (2014).
One of his dialogues from his film “Heti Anani Jyoti Mastrani” became a popular meme. In 1991, he made his debut as a theater (jatra) director in the theater play ‘Bhanga Aaina’. He directed and performed in several theater plays. He mainly played negative characters in Jatras.
Reportedly, on 24 June 2022, he committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Prachi Vihar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. His body was sent for post-mortem to Rajdhani Hospital in Bhubaneswar. According to media sources, he had sent a ‘goodbye’ message to his wife and daughters before committing suicide. On his death, the Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik Sharing his condolences on Twitter, he tweeted,
Saddened to learn about the untimely demise of Raimohan Parida. His absence will always be felt in various fields of art, from drama to jatra and film. He will be remembered for his impeccable acting. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.”
