Sahmeen Kaur was born on 15 July 1998 in New Delhi, India into an affluent Sikh family. His father’s name is Manjit Singh and mother’s name is Sonia Kaur. He has an elder brother Kanwardeet Singh.
Sahajmeen studied Mass Communication from SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi and later earned a master’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from IP University.

Sahajmeen started her career as a theater artist and joined a theater group named Marty Pathshala. He has worked through the group in the popular stage drama Kala Yuga: The Age of Darkness.
In 2021, she came to Mumbai and played her first role in the Hindi film Rakshabandhan directed by Aanand L Rai. She starred alongside Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Saadia Khatib, Deepika Khanna and Seema Pahwa in the film.
