Biography
Sasha Hurtado was born on 2 December 2003 in Dallas, GA. For a multicultural military family of music lovers. Her father is Mexican and her mother, born in Florida. She grew up listening to rock ‘n’ roll and classic mariachi. Sasha began learning music at the age of 9 and sang in church with her brother. She started gigs at the age of 14, her first gig being in a pub (where they made an exception for her age). Sasha attended a vocal workshop at the world-renowned Jan Smith Studio in Atlanta, Georgia, where she was chosen as one of the top vocal students to sing at Jan Smith’s Talent Showcase.
Sasha has become a seasoned performer with experience on stages and venues throughout Georgia. In 2017 and 2019, he was selected for the final executive call for Seasons 14 and 18 of The Voice. In 2022, she appeared as a contestant on the television reality show The Voice 22.
