Shadab Khan is an Indian Bollywood actor, writer, film director and writer. He is best known as the son of the late Indian actor and director Amjad Khan. He started working in the Indian film industry since childhood. He debuted in 1997. He worked as a writer, director and actor in the 2019 short film ‘Mini Banerjee Ghar Mein Hai’.

He was born in a family with an acting background. His father Late Amjad Khan was a great actor and Shadab’s grandfather Jayant was also an actor. He started his acting career at an early age. Shadab started his acting career at the age of 24 with the 1997 film Betabi, in which he played the role of Shekhar. In the same year, he was cast in the film ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baaraat’ opposite Rani Mukerji in the lead role. The film did not do well at the box office and after that he did not get any lead role. In 2000, he was given a supporting character role in ‘Hey Ram’ and ‘Refranarthi’. After working in the 2002 film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’, he played the role of Nawab Afridi in the 2019 film ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’ after a gap of 17 years.
He has also acted in the 2020 web series ‘Scam 1992’ in which he played the character of Ajay Kedia which was based on Ajay Kayan.

Father did not have money to pay so that my mother could be discharged from the hospital in which I was born. She began to cry. My dad didn’t show up at the hospital; He was ashamed to show his face. Chetan Anand, whose film ‘Hindustan Ki Kasam’ he did then, saw my father holding his head in a corner. Chetan Anand sahib gave him Rs 400 so that my mother and I can come home.

She told him that she had heard from unconfirmed sources that the industry owed her (late) husband ₹1 crore 25 lakh; She further said that he would give her the amount in 3 days as her husband was a good person. My mother categorically denied that her husband never took the favor of the underworld. My mother brought the lives of Seemab and my sister Ahlam back on track. If she wasn’t strong then we would have been on the streets. She got into the construction business,” he said.
