Shruti Sharma was born in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. A member of the student executive during his school days, Sharma was appointed as the Secretary of Cultural Affairs responsible for organizing various school events. He did his Bachelor of Arts in History from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. He spent his college days participating in a variety of debates such as parliamentary debates, traditional debates, and the Bari dialect style of debate. Thereafter, he took admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) for post-graduation, but soon left it.
