In 2014, Simi got a chance to represent India at the International Dance Festival Belly Dance China. Thereafter, she participated in the dance reality TV show Dance India Dance Season 5 (2015). Simi made it to the top 30 in the show, although could not make it to the top 15. During that, Terence Lewis And his company was making Disney India’s first Broadway musical ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
