Biography
SOLsong was born into a musical family in Saginaw, Michigan. His mother, grandmother, and aunt were all avid singers, and one of his aunts is a famous blues singer. His father has Latin ancestry but left the family in childhood. SOLsong also spent a year in Spain and learned to perform flamenco music.
SOLsong studied classical music at Eastern Michigan University, where he met the love of his life, Melissa Kalnassi. Two fellow musicians, the pair have been together for 11 years. In 2022, she participated as a contestant on The Voice 22, the singing show aired on NBC.
