Soundarya started her career in 2015 with the comedy-drama film Meerutiya Gangsters. She was featured in the thriller film Ranchi Diaries as Gudiya, whose dream is to become a public sensation. Soundarya debuted as Roli in the 2020 television action-crime mini-series Raktanchal. It was inspired by real-life incidents from Purvanchal in the 1980s.
Soundarya later starred as Rashmi in the television drama series His Story. She did a TV action-thriller series Inspector Avinash in 2021 as Payal Choubey.
