On 28 May 2022, Swati underwent root canal surgery at a private hospital named Oryx Dental Multispecialty Hospital. After the operation, her face swelled up, on asking about her condition the doctor replied that the swelling would go away in two to three days, but even after twenty days the condition of her face was not improving. According to some sources, they injected salicylic acid into her body instead of anesthesia. She is accusing the hospital of wrong treatment. She also shared that the hospital did not share complete details about the treatment with her. When she posted a picture of her swollen face on social media, her photo went viral. This is what I found out when I consulted another dentist for a second opinion. The dentist who performed my root canal procedure first gave me an injection of sodium hypochlorite, at which point I cried and started crying because it was extremely painful. Later he injected anesthesia. According to other doctors, it should have been done in another way. Anesthesia goes first and then sodium hypochlorite. ,
