Tonni Laha Roy was born on 27 July 1993 in Kolkata, West Bengal in a Hindu family. His father’s name is Partha Pratim Laharoy and mother’s name is Sudeshna Laha Roy. Tony started his career in 2015 through the Bengali television serial Tumi Rob Nirob directed by Rajendra Prasad Das. He was seen playing the role of Dighi Mukherjee alongside Shweta Bhattacharya, Suchismita Choudhary and Anashua Majumdar. He later got a chance to play important roles in Ajob Premar Golpo, Tekka Raja Badshah and Bene Bou.
In 2021–22, she played the lead negative role in Zee Bangla’s show Mithai, starring alongside Soumitrisha Kundu and Adit Roy.
