In 2013, she made her debut with the romance Kannada film ‘Aryas Love’ directed by Puneet Arya. In the same year, he appeared in the comedy-drama film Raja Huli playing the character of Jagga. In 2022, Vashishtha N Simha announced her to be a part of KGF: Chapter 2, the sequel to the second part of the 2018 film KGF: Chapter 1. The film stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Vashisht N. Simha, and Prakash Raj. Based on the story of the film after defeating Garuda, Rocky, whose name intimidates his opponents, rises to the occasion by helping and fighting for the struggling individuals in the KGF. His colleagues regard Rocky as their savior. Now he must face his greatest enemy, Adheera, and learn more about his background. The film has been announced to release on 14 April 2022. He will portray a character named Kamal in this sequel.
Vashist N. Simha made her singing debut with the song ‘Neecha sulu sutho nalge’ in the Rishabh Shetty-directed Kannada-language romantic comedy film ‘Kirik Party’, which released in the year 2016. After this, he came up with his second song. Unplugged song from movie Dayavittu Gamanisi titled Maarte Hodenu. In 2018, she sang another song for the film Kirk Party, the sequel to Neechmana. After this, he also sang songs including 6’s Mali title track and Dhwaja. The actor received a lot of appreciation from the audience along with his singing. - Vashisht N Simha was interested in acting and direction since childhood. During his college days, he directed his first play. Talking about the same, he said,
I directed a play during my college days, for which I also got an award. This was all very encouraging for me. I used to go to a theater in Bangalore frequently and it attracted me more towards cinema. I started acting in theater plays. I have acted in half a dozen plays. I quit my job and focused my 100% on plays. From there my cinematic journey began.”
- In 2011, Simha quit his job and decided to pursue a career in acting. His first film in which he acted as ‘Hubli Hudagaru’ was not released.
- Vashist N. Simha has become one of the most sought-after names to collaborate with Kannada films. When asked about his favorite filmmaker with whom he would like to collaborate. He replied,
Hanslekha is my favorite music director. I once tried to contact him to arrange a meeting. After that I came to his notice. One day, he called me and asked me to sing and that’s how my singing career started. During that time my interest in films increased. And that’s how I entered the industry.”
