Vishal made his small screen debut in 2007 with Kuch Iss Tara. He was seen for the role of Ayan Nanda in the show. He then starred as Rishi Tyagi in the popular TV serial Kasam Se and starred alongside Gurdeep Kohli, Ram Kapoor, Vivian Dsena, Gautam Gulati. Vishal gained recognition as Jigar Modi in the romantic family drama series Saath Nibhana Saathiya in 2010. He starred in the show for six years. After this Vishal appeared in Kumkum Bhagya in 2018.
