• In November 2022, her husband Vikram Gokhale’s health deteriorated after which he was immediately taken to a hospital in Mumbai. Some media sources again started claiming that Vikram had passed away. Later speaking to reporters, Vrushali clarified that the news of her husband’s death was just a rumour. He said,
  

  He was walking fine a few days ago, won’t say he was fine as he has many health issues. He has been in the hospital for the last few days and was recovering well, but since yesterday his condition is critical. We are waiting for the doctors to tell us the way forward, hopefully tomorrow they will tell us more, tell us what needs to be done. But he’s critical, and that’s all I can say. He had slipped into a coma yesterday afternoon and has not responded to touch since then. He is on ventilator. The doctors will decide tomorrow morning what to do, depending on whether he is improving, sinking or still not responding.
