The web series is an adaptation of the novel “Mission to Kashmir: An Intelligent Agent In”. Pakistan,” written by Malloy Dhar. It was dubbed in three languages, Telugu, Tamil and Punjabi. My character, Joe Aata, is originally from Old Delhi. Most of his upbringing took place in a certain way. He’s smart, he’s got certain skill sets. So he was picked up for the job. Well, he was not psychologically prepared. He could be a fish out of water.

I couldn’t have asked for a better project than Mukhbir to mark my OTT debut. I have grown up in Kashmir and have seen firsthand the challenges people face during riots and wars, so being a part of Mukhbir was even more emotional for me. The minute I read the script, I knew I had to take it up because the character is so inspiring.
